New Resource Released: Multisector Plan for Aging Toolkit

The Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS), with support from The SCAN Foundation, West Health, May & Stanley Smith Charitable Trust, and The Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation, has released the Multisector Plan for Aging Toolkit (January 2026). This practical resource is designed to help states and their partners develop, implement, and refresh multisector plans for aging (MPAs) — long-term, cross-sector strategies that coordinate policies, programs, and investments to better meet the needs of older adults, people with disabilities, and caregivers. The toolkit provides step-by-step guidance, real-world examples, and modules on everything from building state leadership buy-in to stakeholder engagement and data-driven planning.
