This new issue brief, authored by West Health, explores common elements across the nine states with MPAs, as well as a typical timeline and development process. The brief also includes “state spotlights” that highlight key features unique to each individual plan. These one-page resources can be used for individuals looking to educate others about their state’s MPA, or for those in states without MPAs who are looking for examples from other states. New Blog: Bringing the National Plan on Aging to Life – Turning Strategy into Action
The SCAN Foundation recently published a new blog. This resource highlights how The Administration for Community Living’s Interagency Coordinating Committee on Healthy Aging and Age Friendly Communities is developing a National Plan on Aging (NPA), a blueprint to guide and align federal policy and programmatic efforts to advance healthy aging opportunities for all older adults.
